The property is perfectly located right in the centre of Brixham harbour, literally 2 minutes away. The kids room was amazing and my young lads loved it. A really cosy and welcoming holiday home.

Anya is a brilliant host. My boyfriend and I stayed in the cottage for a few months in between moving houses. Anya was always really quick to respond and really helpful.

The cottage itself is lovely and really well looked after. The kitchen is well equipped with everything you need to make a good meal. The lounge is cosy and the wood burner a nice treat for the cold winter nights. The WiFi is also very good - we both work remotely and had no issues.

The cottage is just a few minutes walk to the harbour and high street, so you can easily explore Brixham without moving your car.

In summary, we’ve loved our time at Salty’s and have even looked to see if there were any cottages similar for sale nearby....maybe one day!

It was lovely clean cosy cottage close to town and harbour

Salty's cottage was superb in every aspect and in a fantastic position, only a 2 minute walk down the Temperance Steps to the pretty harbour with its many bars, restaurants and little shops. The fish market is a must visit.
Anya was an excellent host, always quick to respond to any questions or queries .
I would certainly recommend staying in this delightful cottage.

The property is furnished with all you need for your stay and is as described a stones throw of the harbour. It was the perfect stay for our new year break as you can relax in the cottage with the log burner blazing or within a minute walking the harbour or coastline.
We have two boys 12 and 8 and for them there was plenty of games in the upstairs bedroom to keep them occupied during our stay.
We had great communications at every stage from booking to leaving which is very satisfying especially during these times where nothing is certain . If you are looking for something different and a great value break this is a perfect choice.

Great location, very easy walking distance to town and on a very picturesque street. The cottage itself was lovely, very nicely done up. It was overall a very comfortable stay and perfect for a few days by the sea.

We loved this fabulously cosy cottage, and the comfort and facilities offered. For our small family, the two comfortable and beautifully decorated bedrooms were ideal. We spent lovely, relaxed evenings in the living room and made good use of the log burning fire - we bought wood and kindling in bags from the texaco garage on the road into Brixham, as well as enjoying the smart TV and very good wifi. The well-equipped kitchen is ideal for cooking, as all appliances and crockery/cookware is provided. The kitchen overlooks a small courtyard style garden with seating area, which gets the morning sun. The location, mid way up a set of steps (Brixham is famous for its steps) lined with photogenic pastel-coloured cottages, is ideal for accessing the town's shops and restaurants and harbour, just a few minutes from the door. The hosts are helpful and send timely communications with handy info before and during your stay.

The place we stayed in was very clean. Done up really nice. And very handy to get to places. Nice and peaceful having no traffic driving past. Also, a thoughtful gesture was having milk and tea for you. So there was no rush to go out.

What an amazing cottage in a terrific location ideal for everything the area has to offer. Salty’s Cottage was immaculate with all the comforts you need. Anya the owner was so helpful and communication was first class.
